Vehicles we accept in Indiana

Cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, boats, RVs — running or not, clean title or complicated.

At Hoosier Wheels, we believe that any vehicle, regardless of its condition, can help make a difference in our community. We accept nearly all types of vehicles, whether they're drivable or not. Your car, truck, motorcycle, or even a boat can help fund vital programs that connect Indiana residents with essential benefits like SNAP, Hoosier Healthwise, and more. By donating, you are not only clearing space in your driveway but also contributing to a greater cause that supports your neighbors in need.

Categories we accept

Cars & Sedans
1995-present

Donated cars typically go to auction where they’ll fetch the best price, benefiting our local programs. If a car is not in sellable condition, it’s recycled for parts, maximizing the donation’s value.

In Indiana's urban areas, sedans are a popular choice for commuters, making their donation vital for local funding.

Pickup Trucks
1990-present

Pickup trucks are often sold at auction or stripped for parts, depending on their condition. Their versatility makes them desirable in the market.

In rural Indiana, pickups are essential for farming and trades, which makes them highly valuable for helping fund local services.

SUVs & Crossovers
1995-present

SUVs and crossovers can be auctioned or sold for parts. Their high demand in the used market helps generate more funds for community services.

Families across Indiana appreciate the utility of SUVs, and your donation can provide significant support to local programs.

Motorcycles
1990-present

Motorcycles can be auctioned off or disassembled for parts, depending on their condition. Both options help raise money for local initiatives.

In Indiana, motorcycles are not only a mode of transport but a passion; your donation fuels community connections.

RVs & Campers
1995-present

RVs and campers are typically sold at auction; if not operational, parts may be recycled, ensuring every component contributes to local causes.

With many Indiana families enjoying camping, your RV donation can transform outdoor adventures into support for our community.

Boats
2000-present

Boats can be auctioned or sold for parts; many find new homes, which helps generate funds crucial for local assistance programs.

In our lakes and river areas, boats are cherished, and donating yours can offer fellow Hoosiers essential community support.

Commercial Vehicles
1990-present

Commercial vehicles often fetch good prices at auction, which translates into vital funds for programs helping our neighbors in Indiana.

With many local businesses relying on commercial vehicles, donations contribute to the economic backbone of Indiana.

Non-running Vehicles
All years

Even non-running vehicles can be recycled for parts or sold for scrap, ensuring that they still provide value to fund local initiatives.

Many residents in Indiana have vehicles that have seen better days; your donation helps turn those into new opportunities.

Condition guide

When considering a vehicle donation, it's essential to understand the different conditions that can qualify your vehicle. Running vehicles are ideal, as they generally can be sold at auction for the highest value. If your vehicle doesn’t run, don’t worry; we accept non-running vehicles, too! These are often salvaged for parts or recycled, still contributing to our funding efforts. It’s important to be honest about the condition of your vehicle, as it directly affects how it will be processed and ultimately its value to Hoosier Wheels.

Vehicles with salvage titles can still be accepted, but they may require some additional evaluation to determine their potential resale value. If you have a rebuilt or reconstructed title, we may still be able to accept your vehicle on a case-by-case basis. However, vehicles with a lienholder present or missing titles may need special consideration, and we'll guide you through those situations to ensure a smooth donation process.

Hoosier Wheels understands that not every vehicle is conveniently located. For immobile vehicles, we make pickup as easy as possible. We’ll coordinate with you to arrange a suitable time for collection, whether your vehicle is in a crowded apartment complex, on a rural property, or even at a marina. Our team is experienced in handling various situations across Indiana, so you can rest assured that we’ll handle your donation with care, ensuring it goes towards supporting local programs and benefits for your fellow residents.
