How to schedule your free local pickup
1. Tell us about your vehicle and location
Start online or by phone with your basic vehicle details (year, make, model, condition) and your Indiana address. Let us know if you’re in a city neighborhood like Broad Ripple, a suburb like Carmel, or a rural area so we can match the right tow partner.
2. Choose a pickup day that works for you
We’ll look at local tow-truck availability in your part of Indiana and offer pickup windows. City pickups in Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, or South Bend may be available sooner, while very rural or outlying towns might need an extra day or two for routing.
3. Prepare the keys and Indiana title
Before pickup, remove your personal items and have the title ready. In most of Indiana, you’ll sign the title over to complete the donation. Our team will explain exactly where to sign and what to do with your plates according to BMV guidance.
4. Meet the tow driver or arrange access

After the vehicle is sold, you’ll receive a tax receipt by mail. For most donations, you can deduct the sale price or $500, whichever is greater; for amounts over $500, you’ll use IRS Form 1098‑C when you file. Consult your tax advisor for details.
