This program can help you if you are having trouble paying your home mortgage and you are at risk of foreclosure. To get help from this program you must have limited income. In addition, you must have a personal hardship that has prevented you from making your mortgage payments, such as a loss of job, underemployment, military service or a divorce.

Indiana Disabled Veterans Property Tax Exemption Program

You can take part in this program if you are an honorably discharged U.S. veteran with a service-connected disability. You must also own a home and pay property tax on it. The home must be where you live most of the year. If you are a surviving spouse (who has not remarried) you may be able to get this property tax benefit.
